Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update from City of Fresno Business Tax Division

In an effort to limit the amount of personal contact and to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), City of Fresno Business Tax Division would like to notify you of the following regarding our services during this public health challenge.

Public Counter
Effective March 18, 2020 all City of Fresno public-facing counter services have been suspended, including the Business Tax counter. The Administration is doing everything it can to protect the public with social distancing strategies. During this temporary closure, City staff will provide services electronically and via telephone.

If you have questions about Fresno City Business Tax, you can reach us by email at businesstax@fresno.gov or by phone at (559) 621-6880 Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Tax Payment Deadlines
Business Tax payment deadlines will be delayed until June 1, 2020.
Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) deadlines will remain the same.

Online Services:
The below online portals are available and are the recommended way to conduct business with the Business Tax Division.

·         For online payments, renewals, re-printing your license, and managing your notification settings click here
VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards and debit cards with a VISA or MasterCard logo only will be accepted. There is a 2.3% service fee.
